Default Two Day - Low Limit Challenge - Interest Thread

After hosting the low limit challenge last May (which coincided with the team challenge), I thought it might be a good idea to host another, similar challenge. As many people compained about getting burnt out for the last challenge, I thought it would be better to do a much shorter period of time for this one. I was thinking of making the challenge a two day challenge, for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Buy-in will be somewhere in the $15-$30 range. Scoring will count for top 5 TLB scores (so volume isnt too much of a factor and people with jobs can still have a good shot) in tournaments with buy-ins of $9.90 or less, and will include the $3r, but not the $5r. Further rules will be clarified between now and then, but please post if you are interested so I can see if enough participants to make worthwhile. This can also help attendance in the Tuesday $4/180 challenge, as if you are participating in this, you might as well get in that.

What's wrong with doing it Saturday/Sunday so people with jobs actually can participate on equal terms?

nah - mid week is better. Some of us with jobs could do without the temptation...

Love the idea, but those two days aren't great. Would love to see max buyin go up to $10. I might still join and give it a shot with limited volume, if there is a lot of participation.

I take it this is all individual scores not a team format? Either way sounds fun.

Why not make the buyin up to $10 so we can play the daily 15 grand and the nightly 20 grand guarantee?

I'd be up for doing something like this as a stress-free break from poker, but I would like the buyin to be a little higher.

How about any MTT from $1 to $30?

It's not like anyone would gain an edge by being able to play a $30 mtt when someone else can't since the highest TLB points are paid out in the smaller buy-in tourneys.

Can someone give me a quick overview of the rules for a challenge like this?

I assume the highest TLB total scores over 48 hours wins -- but only top 5 scores count?

Link to old challenge thread may shed some light on this for me.

sat / sun please? Though would I be able to still play the mill and warmup etc, and just discount any potential (lol - i'll bust out before the first break) tlb points earned? Getting disqualified would suck.
