Default Sportsbook.com (Read before depositing)

If you just want to play for entertainment and burn off a few dollars, Sportsbook is your place. If you intend to make a profit, you should read on...
On April 23rd 2007 I initiated the withdrawel process to cashout $500 from my account. I received an automated email response claiming my withdrawel would be processed in 7-10 business days. Folks, at the time of this post it has been 101 days, and I've received nothing from Sportsbook except for lies and excuses. The most recent lie being that they shipped it via FedEx on July 12th but were not given a tracking number. After several calls to Fedex I was able to get the tracking number only to find out the package was never sent on the 12th. In fact, it was never sent at all. They have done nothing more than printed a shipping label on July 16th. Four days after the date they claimed to have shipped it. Please note that I make no suggestions as to where you should deposit funds. I am merely offering you information to prevent you from going through the mess I currently am at sportsbook.com. Thank you for taking time to read.

Get an Epassporte account. I just cashed out and it took less than 24 hours for the funds to hit my Epassporte account.

This is the reason I don't reply much at this site. The amount of morons cannot be charted. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO DEPOSIT OR WITHDRAWAL FROM SPORTSBOOK.COM WITH EPASSPORTE.
Also, it has been discussed time and time again for Americans to avoid this site. How many warnings do people need. Hope this tread is the last of Sportbook.com warnings.

Do you even know what Epass is or their policies or is it because you don't know that Sportsbook.com is a sportabook?

OP, I've been through a similar experience with Sportsbook in my efforts to cash out beginning in March. On multiple occasions they told me they had processed the withdrawal and it was on its way only to later confess that they actually hadn't when I kept asking for status updates. They've actually had me reinitiate my withdrawal request three different times, citing different reasons each time (backlog of requests, processor bailed, etc) that could be legitimate but just seems like [censored]. I'm fairly convinced I'll never get the cashout.

here are 2 quotes from my personal cashout history with sportsbook.com. i requested both a check and wire

[ QUOTE ]
Requested a cashout via wire trasfer on 4/3/07

On 4/17/07 Sportsbook.com emails me and asks for bank account verification. I email them a scanned voided check the same day.

On 4/28/07 I get an email that my wire has been sent

This morning, 5/4/07, I check my bank account and see the money is in there minus a $12 international wire trasfer fee imposed from my bank.

Took a month, but at least I got my $$$

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
Update on my check request

Requested the check on 4/23/07

On 5/3/07 I get an email stating it has been sent via DHL

On 5/9/07 I have a DHL package waiting on my doorstep with my check

The check came from Las Vegas and is written on Nevada State Bank paper

[/ QUOTE ]

my last transaction (the check) was for my entire roll. the site is shady. its not as fishy as it used to be. no point in playing there

Got 2.3k wire from them 2 months ago, zeroing my account. (Had to wait 2 months to get it, though.) Support was fairly honest with me: after a month of waiting, they told me I'd probably have to wait another month. Now I get RB at Cake

Awful site, awful cust svc (obv). Used to bet sports there, took months to receive payouts, lies from cust svc about when payments were sent, etc., etc., etc. Same bad experience as everyone else. Don't use SB if you like money.
