Default Colors

I went to sleep and there were a lot. I woke up and there are a few.

If people are going to be using colors, you should probably not use pink. You can do a search when I made Talk2bigSteves name pink and a LOT of people complained it hurt their eyes.

I had virtually nothing to do with either giving or removing colors, except for one. I made the gimmick acct. Mr. Pink pink. I agree that pink should be used sparingly, but there are some instances when it is warranted.

I honestly don't care. When I was first made a mod I turned Steve's name pink. The Stranger (I believe it was him) took a screenshot and complained about the eyestrain. Although it didn't bother me, maybe half a dozen other people complained about it being too bright. Maybe it was just their monitor. I tried doing a search but 2+2's decision to restrict the already sucky search engine to 6 months made searching very very annoying. I gave up. I couldn't even find Talk2bigSteves "look at the pretty colors" thread.

If Mat gets pissed, it'll be easy to put them all back to normal. That's why I forced them all to respond in one thread.

your method is atleast the most fair. There should either be a free all or a none for all IMO.

These [censored] colour changes blow. It was fine when there were only a few (although I never changed any myself 'cause I knew it'd be really annoying and dumb if more than a few got it), but now it just plain blows. The forums look like [censored], it is abrasive on the eyes, a lot of the colours make it hard to read, etc. These forums already look bad enough with the out of date colour scheme, but this is just horrible. Now that it's gotten out of control, I honestly would rather we call it quits with colour changes altogether and disallow it.

I actually prefer none at all, other than some teporary rewards for whatever reason (like my two contests).

But, this was a strange way for me to blow off some steam.
