UTG raises to $175.00, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls $175.00, 5 folds, BB calls $125.00

Flop: ($550) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)

Is villian ever putting any more money in the pot here with just an overpair after that turn hits? I'm really not sure what's best here. I feel like by betting we let him fold everything we want to get value from, but I feel really dirty checking this. What do you think he does here with AA with the Ad?

I can deff see a good arguement for checking, what ya think he's doing with overpairs with(+out) a diamond if you fire turn.

full pot, and 1/2.

i def check this (w/o history)
I dont think we get calls from worse hands enough to make up the times he checkraises us. We are not to worried about giving a free card and we are never folding out better hands (unless maybe if we fire the river also)

No way in checking. Put out 1500 or so, he pushes fold. 9 out of 10 times I doubt he pushes. He calls, blank comes on river put out another bet.

I'd be in the check-behind camp but this board is getting ugly so fast... I'm assuming you're not worried about being beat and primarily trying to figure out how to maximize value here, but there's just way too many bad cards that can beat you/make it totally impossible to get another bet on the river so I'd bet the turn for like two-thirds pot and hope he plays along.

If villain has two diamonds wouldn't he repop you on the flop?

This seems more like an overpair with a diamond which means he has 10 outs to beat you. Checking behind lets him get there for free, which seems criminal. I'd bet ~$2k.
