Default 100nl - Raising NFD into 4 ppl on paired board

The PFR is 22/18/0.5 but he just sat down and I can't really give any reads besides that.

The two callers are both in the 45vpip 12pfr 3aggr range. They've been at this table with me for awhile. I've actually run 16/14 at this table but my AF is like 9.

This is the first hand I've cold called at this table PF.

My raise here is SUPER strong on a paired board with 2 people who checked, but is it too dangerous? I'm only dead to 3 hands and no one can call without a 9, right?

I usually just call, then raise the turn. If you raise now, you aren't getting called very much, but you also aren't getting called by much on the turn. In the event that someone does have a 9, you save some money by just calling a lot of the time, especially if someone raises.

Your fold equity is likely to be just as high on the turn as well, and you can sometimes squeeze an extra bet out of MP.

yea this guy isnt leading into 4 guys alot with a hand he wont call your raise with. So what do you plan for the turn and river? I like a smooth call here and re-evaluate the turn.

hit a diamond.

if i miss i might shovel or might check. we'll have like 2/5 pot left in our stacks.

honestly though I can't really see him flat calling this raise, which is why i made it full pot. i want to force him to decide whether he's comitting or not.

the problem with calling and shoving any turn is that i'm not sure he bets the turn again (maybe he does though) and i think i have zero implied odds on a diamond in the pot, precisely because of the paired board.

i guess if he's betting the turn again then that might be the best play because it gets the most money from him, but so many cards will scare him from betting again that i feel like i just want to put all the money in now.

a flop call here is pretty bad IMO?

Mason, its a bit dangerous like you already said, but like u said they cant call w/o 77/9x, so, gogogogogo IMO.
