Default Who Folds This?

SB is 68/22/??? after 25 hands at the table. He's won 10 big bets so he may well be catching starting hands. Plenty of pop in him for sure.

Limit Holdem Ring game
5 players

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, CO calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls???, CO calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img](8SB, 4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, CO folds, Button calls, SB 3-bets, Hero calls, Button calls.

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](8.5BB, 3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button folds.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](10.5BB, 2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: 12.5BB

I almost let this go after he 3bet the flop? You?

I say u can stay in.and call him down.U have a top pair on the flop, only 2 of remainings jacks left. And river just call probably ok,but against some players it`s beter to raise,to get maximum value from them

Holy god no don't fold. You might be able to raise the river. With QJ I would. Probably JT.

Folding is never an option here. River is an interesting decision. With only 25 hands on the guy, just calling is fine, and make a note when you see turn over a massively overplayed 88 or underrepresented QQ.

You're getting 15-1 with top pair so you have to call. He could have a flushdraw, overcards, etc, but even if you're beat you're getting great odds

Seems like everyone likes the way I played this. I'm still not sure about this hand myself. He's 3 barreling against 2 opponents on a flop that is pretty dry. Whats more, he probably is not on a draw. He would have bet a draw to begin with. I'm convinced he would have bet a lot of other hands as well. Also, given the information I have(provided in OP) he is not a moran like yourface said. He's won some bets in 25 hands so he's probably caught some hands.

If I conclude that I'm almost always behind and drawing dead to an 8 or drawing dead period, why continue after he 3bets. I have invested just 2 small bets in a hand that has the potential to cost me dearly?

Not that I lost it. I may have?
