The problem with this is that it's essentially a bluff. I don't see what he's calling with that we beat, even a lower set probably folds the river. Just check it down and hope he doesn't have a heart.

After villain c/c both flop and turn, what hands do you expect to extract value from here? You may get villain to fold a weak heart or a straight that hit on the turn (wouldn't be a value bet though), but I can't see villain calling with two pair (regardless of how unlikely it would be for him to have it considering the action), and I don't think any villain plays a set this way either.

i thought considering that he called a reasonably large bet on the turn that he was more likely to be holding a top pair type of hand than a heart . this is a good bet against a known calling station atleast ?

unless he's terrible it's unlikely he has the Ah, unless he also had a pair to go with it, but he could easily have Qxjh or KhQx etc, or even a pp w/heart. Even if he does have KQ with no heart or something you just bet 3 streets on what was a monotone board which could easily be a semibluffing Ah, and really, putting you on anything else here would probably be a spew without history anyways.

edit: if you want to bet, bet something retarded like 95 or something, but I'm not sure I like that either.

I don't think it's a good bet against any opponent. Even the worst calling station at 5/10 isn't calling a bet here with 1 pair or even 2 pair. Just check it down.

This move against a known calling station is way worse because they could be foolish enough to call with a straight and will almost definitely call with 8h and above, but almost nobody on the planet would call here with top pair, and even the worst calling stations would probably not acll with 67 which is the only 2pair I could see them having.

Edit: I'll just assume that zimmer is going to have the same answer as me next time and just save some time.
