Re: 100NL Flopping top two; river line?
Bet $38 .. at that point you'd have to call a shove because it would only be less than a min-raise. But if he c/r's the river I could only figure he had AT/9Tcc .. or if he's horrible, 6xss

Re: 100NL Flopping top two; river line?
Definitely not b/f or checking here. I would either bet 2/3 pot or shove. In this case probably shove as I doubt villain is calling 40 twice as often as a shove. I also might bet a little closer to pot on the turn to set up a river shove if those are my intentions.

Re: 100NL Flopping top two; river line?
I think it's pretty close between betting $18 again and shoving. If I bet small I would call any check-raise. I don't like making a medium bet as I don't think you're deep enough to fold to a check-raise and a medium bet will have really discouraged him from bluff check-raising. You'll end up with the worst of both worlds as hands like K8 would have been almost as likely to call a bigger bet while hands like JT will now probably fold when the would have been quite likely to call $20.

bet at least 1/2 the pot... dont shove though you will scare away your action.

Re: 100NL Flopping top two; river line?
put him on a range of hands he could get to the river with, lets say clubs, KJ, KT, Kx, QJ, QT, JT. he's not going to call a river bet with clubs, JT, QT, or probably QJ. he's calling with any Kx because the 6 counterfeits a low kicker.
you have 68 left and the pot is 60. shove and get paid off by KJ, KT, Kx. |
