Default Laptop too good to be true? Sony Vaio AR290G Laptop with CORE 2 DUO

Is this too good to be true for 620 dollars? It was listed on Craigslist.

That's gonna be way more than 1k new. Bluray drive alone probably adds $500-600 cost alone.

At $620 I'd scoop that up pretty quick if I was in the market. Just make sure of the specs before handing over the cash.

From my brief google search, these go for 2,500-3K new not including tax, so I'd say too good to be true.

Pretty sick deal. I hope the guy doesn't steal your car when you go to pick up the laptop. (i.e. This laptop is hotter than...[a funny saying about something really hot])

what im trying to say is that it is probably stolen or ill-begotten in some way.

I guess I can get in trouble for buying this. However, he mentions that there is 9 months left on the warranty.

google - AR290G Laptop with CORE craigslist -
There is the same ad across the country. The seller claims to be in the UK and wants payment by TNT.
Then google - TNT scam - craigslist needs to put a stop to this.
