SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($3.90) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB calls $3.55 (All-In), Hero ???

-is there a standard line for mid-high paired flop boards?
-continue aggression on the turn, or figure that since he called flop bet that he's not going away?
-what effect should villain's stack size have on the way that I play this hand? dealing w/short stacks is something that I'm not clear on at all.
-of course, anything else you guys have to say is also always appreciated.

fold.
Any A, 10, or J has to you beat and you have no read at all. You should have bet the pot or overbet to $2 and fold to a raise on the flop. I have no problem checking it down after the turn. If you call the river you're burning money IMO.

you played it fine....all you beat is a bluff, and he had to call you with something on the flop right?

You don't make money on these tables by picking off bluffs in spots like these.
