Default Can\'t run FTP on my laptop

This morning I installed FTP on my laptop. When I first installed it, it ran fine. I exited out of the program, and a few hours later opened it back up. When it opened, it was only in a corner of my monitor(I could see less than 1/4th of the lobby) and I couldn't move it or click anything on the lobby. If I clicked on the lobby, it made a "Ding" noise. I can not change the priority or do anything to the program(minimize it, move it, ANYTHING)

I've tried to uninstall and re-install, no dice.

Any ideas or suggestion?

Try changing the resolution on your screen to the greatest possible.
This should move the lobby towards the middle.

The reason you are getting the "bing" all the time is that the logon window opens and you need to click the button on it or press enter to continue.

Well that makes sense but my resolution is already at it's highest. I've looked for some way to adjust my screen so that everything gets shifted but so far no luck.

Try right-clicking the entry on the bar and see if u have the Move option.
If so then select it and you should be able to move the window with the arrow keys.
You may need to press enter first before doing this as it may be stuck on the login screen.

You said you tried re-installing.
The next step would to be uninstalling it and then searching the Registry for any reference to it and deleting it.

However, this is risky if you don't know what you are doing.
It is quite easy to ****-up your computer if you delete a wrong entry.

I am a little familiar with the registry(I think I deleted something out of there for Party one time) but I don't have a great deal of knowledge about it.

Although I did just realize I didn't follow the advice I give my little brother all the time(When all else fails, restart).

I suppose I'll reboot and see what happens.

Well, rebooting didn't help...I changed the resolution to it's lowest setting, and that centered the FT screen. I was able to log in, and all is good again.

Thanks for your help.
