The smaller stack was playing pretty loose so i figured he could be pushing a wider range.

The other guy probably knows that, so he doesn't necessarily have an awesome hand, but he pushed over a push. I wasn't sure if i wanted to risk 2/3 of my chips to maybe be a slight favorite this early. If i had like jj it's probably an easy call. Should i call or fold here? If i had like AK would that be a call? Thanks

people do weird stuff in the 6s but this is just too big a bet to call with 99. if i was near closing the action on a bad player that shoved there i would for sure call but this caller in the middle pushes 99 to the "just not enough" category in level 3. Id put my money in with jj here and TT is meh.

I think i get my money in here, my range is probably AQ+ 99+

You don't need them to be pushing too loose for 99 to be correct, if the open shover has like 44+ A8s+ A9+ KQ and the repush has 77+ AT+ then its ok to get allin with 99. I think those ranges are probably fairly accurate for a $6, and both could even be a fair bit looser.

I fold 99 and TT here. there's a good chance your drawing against 3, maybe 4 overs here. theres also a good chance your losing to the reshovers pocket pair....maybe below 99, but TT-AA can be in there too. if it were only the initial pusher i'd take the 99 but with the 2 ppl, i'd settle for taking JJ.

I would consider calling against 1 pusher here, but 2 this early in the tourney seems like a low risk/reward. At best we are looking at 2 under pairs (unlikely). I think REALLY AT BEST we are looking at a coin flip against 1 player and a lower pair against the other. It the middle we are looking at a coin flip against 1 and a higher pair against the other or 2 coin flips (which may be realistic and might actually work to our benefit as they may both have A's), and AT WORST we are looking at 2 over-pairs with only our 2 outer to get us the suck out.

Just seems like too much risk as we have to beat both of them to to get anywhere (with the exclusion of the idea that we might win the side pot).

Being the first in and raising is a whole different story, but not the situation presented here.

If it was just the first guy i would quickly call, but the reraise makes it more than half my stack. The loose raiser is probably less likely to have like 22 or 33 so there isn't TOO many pairs i'm beating. Also i could be against 4 overs, and even if i beat the bigger stack i could lose the main pot.

Turned out the 1st guy had 99 and the 2nd A/J and my 99 would have taken it, but i think it was a good fold.

I'm folding this all day. I'm probably folding AK here as well. JJ+ for me.

I'm a nit, though.
