Default 100NL Bodog KK on paired board

100NL 9handed. Effective stacks $100. No reads. UTG limps. Folds to me and I raise to 4 from the cutoff with KK. SB calls and UTG calls. Flop is 288 rainbow. Checks to me. Hero? I bet 8. SB minraises and UTG folds. I call. Turn is 6. Villain pots it. Hero? What do you do on the flop when it checks to you? What do you do on the turn?

I bet $10-12 into the $13 pot on the flop, when he minraises I call. When he bets pot into you on the turn you are putting over half of your stack in so this is obviously a fold or get pot committed situation. You could just stick it in on the turn, although this is potentially getting any pocketpair (certainly in his range) to fold, however this will also get a random bluffing A out of the hand which could also destroy you. You could just call and call behind on the river, getting the stack of a random pocket pair.

If you knew that any pocket pair or bluffing A would shove any river, I think that calling behind is the right decision and hoping he misses his 2-3 outs. If you think he would just check and not call your AI river bet with an unimproved A or pocket pair (or a scare card could come such as a Q making him fold 99-JJ), than you don't want to give him the free chance of catching his outs by just calling. Because you have no reads in this situation, I would probably just stick it in on the turn, hoping that 99-QQ would call and accepting that 87,89,22,A8 hit this flop really hard once in a while, and if he folds you have still won yourself a nice pot.

What if villain shoves river? What if the river is an A?

You hate the river if it is an ace. When Im new to the table, im not going to start builiding a huge pot on a paired board. Id just play it conservatively.

villain most likely has another pair so calling down all the way even if an ace pops
