Default Crazy beat in my local .25/.50 home game

Still shocked how these situations happen in these spots.

This game runs weekly and there is usually 6-10 players, the usual weak/crazy game. Its weird to play since the only buyin you can do is $20 which is 40BB, a weird number of chips to play with. Therefore I am the maniac there playing really aggressive. This usually gets me out $40-$60 or up $100+.

The game has broken down to 4 players. The guy that I played the hand with is a decent player that cant really fold his hands and he like to show people his cards. This is the last hand of the night.

SB $150
BB $30
Villain $160
Hero $150

Villain has been getting decent cards, since he has been showing people that his endless raises recently have been with cards.

Villain raises to $2

Hero dealt KK raises to $10

Villain insta calls and shows his cards to guy beside him smiling. This put his range to AJ-AK by the way he carried himself.

Flop ($20.75)

K A 9

Villain instantly goes all in for his $150
Hero instantly calls $140
Villain shows AT.

Turn ($300.75)

9

River ($300.75)

A

Bad beat doesn't bother me at all just think its nuts how these situations can show up in the most critical hand in the game, just crazy.

There is not content in this post at all. You just want to whine about a bad beat. You got your money in good and variance decided you would lose this hand.

There's not even a question here.

Is there a rake in your game or something?
Anyways, that hand really sucks. Hopefully he bought you a drink afterwards or something.

Why do people think that anybody gives a [censored] about bad beats in general, much less a .25/.50 bad beat.

I still wouldn't give a [censored] if it were 25,000/50,000 but it's nice to see someone whine about a bad beat concerning about as much money as it costs to fill up a gas tank.
