Default Florida Poker Question

I have frequented the Florida poker scene quite frequently in the Hollywood/Pompano area. I did quite well pillaging the 150+ SnG's but I havent been down since NL law took effect. I come down 3-4 times a year to visit friends and family but have been recently thinking about taking my business down there and moving from MD.

I play poker to offset slow times with work and mainly play A.C. now. I go up as much as possible and do fairly well, I have only had a losing session once in the past year. I play mostly NL and MTT. My main question is have you all that have been playing NL (2/5 and higher) in FL been making consistent money?

I appreciate any input as I am making my way through the 30 pages of FL poker post

Made it through the post but still wouldnt mind some input.

There are no games higher than 2-5 no limit in Florida.

The higher stakes were taken out early in July.

You will find 1-2 NO LIMIT everywhere, and 2-5 mainly at the Hard Rock properties.

The tournament rake/structures have started to improve dramatically if you plan on playing $200 and up buy-ins.

Oh, yes.....the games are highly beatable.

Normal rake in most places is capped at $5 with $1 going to the jackpots.

If you've only had one losing session in the past year, you either have a faulty memory or you're not playing nearly enough.

Let me rephrase that "one trip to AC where i came home in the negative". I saw how I wrote that in my initial post but couldn't edit my post for some reason. I've broken even a few times also but hell thats win to me LOL.

Thanks for the input on FL.
