this morning i went to the orleans (its a casino in vegas to the left of NYNY) to watch the simpsons movie (they have also a movie theatre and a bowling alley and beer-steamed vienna hot dogs). the movie was ok. then i walked by the poker room and it was all old people and i was like YES--I LOVE PLAYING AGAINST OLD PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE TERRIBLE. but they only had 1-2. but i realized i only had like $100 anyway because i didnt plan on playing because its monday. so i buy in and order a shot of vodka which was just awful.

anyway, heres two hands where i use good strategy for 1-2 nl.

hero picks up 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG and smooth calls $2, 1 fold, UTG+2 RAISES to $12, MP calls, 1 fold, CO calls, BTN calls, 2 folds, hero RAISES all-in for $96 because hero is a dangerous player whos going to make a lot of money on the day (http://tonyg.pokerworks.com/2007/06/...lt-3-6nlh.html), UTG+2 calls (crap), 3 folds.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

hero says, "im going to win now."

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

villain shows A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. lick my balls villain.


five hands later at a different table (it was a must-move game):

Hero is UTG and enjoys A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (the red ones), hero calls $2, 2 folds (crap), MP RAISES to $15 (yes--hes falling right into my trap), 5 folds (crap), hero RAISES ALL IN for $232 (lol), villain thinks for 2 seconds and goes, "i think its gonna be a race. i call." lol what a moron. he had like $195.
