Re: 16: KK lvl 3
i would have re-raised to 300-325 pf. gets the job done just the same plus when we run into a situation like this we don't commit our entire stack. a little pot control goes a long way and this is the reason why. you have to cbet b/c you've got so much invested but it's very likely you're behind by a ton. i'd bet 450 and fold to a shove, but if we had raised smaller pf we could bet less and get away much easier.

Re: 16: KK lvl 3
chuck, we aren't trying to go for pot control, or get away from kings. If we raise to 300-325 its to make him call more, not keep the pot smaller.
Stop being results orientated since an ace flopped |

Re: 16: KK lvl 3
raising it up to 9x bb from a min-raise is bad. i'm just saying that i would have raised to a smaller amount because i hate situations like this. i'm not being results oriented, and this isn't the first time a question like this has been raised, in fact, i had posted a hand like this a few months ago and the consensus was a smaller raise (i did the same thing as OP at the same level.) the majority of the time we get called preflop from a min-raiser we're [censored] when an A hits, so if you can make those chips back post-flop that you don't put in pf makes it a much better play in the long run (this is assuming you can practice proper bet sizing post-flop).

I'm with you echo, I don't really think there's any question about my raise pre [/ QUOTE ] well i personally would have made it 350 or 400, i don't want him to fold! On that flop i'd prob just check behind |
