basically I am just calling here b/c I DO NOT want to bubble. fold is reasonable but i like the call in hopes of a cooperation play with the BB assuming the SB calls.

I seriously wasn't even thinking about getting eliminated on the bubble. I thought I was getting the best of it by pushing because I figured SB would call with ATC, getting the protection of my all-in, and BB would only call a very small range, giving me great pot odds. Little did I know he would call with garbage and catch...sigh

In this sitution we are not worried about getting value for our hand, rather we are concerned with getting the shortstack eliminated.

I think this is an exception to the rule situation. Normally with under 5BB you shove here, but with the SB so short I agree just flat call and dump if BB raises.
