Default Beat: Wife lost wallet.... sdghasdghsdgh

My wife has an advanced degree, yet she can't figure out how not to lose stuff like our house keys, her wallet, etc.

We've had two close calls in the last year where she dropped her wallet 'near' her car and then found it the next day.

Well today she left it downtown just out on the street and when she went back for it, it was gone.

Someone actually brought the thing back to the East side and dropped it off at my neighbor's house, so we recovered her license, credit cards, check book and gym card.

But we lost several gift cards worth $50 each and someone probably wrote down all her cc numbers and bank acct number before pitching the rest back on the street.

strategy: What do we need to do other than call the various banks and cc companies to prevent ID theft?

Pole time:

When she gets home be sure to demand anal. You hear me? No matter how neat you want the house, she has to clean it.

It would be awesome if there was, like, a worldwide network of computers that could communicate with each other, and maybe some of those computers could be queried as to where information like this could be found on other computers, and then I wouldn't have to find posts like this every single mother [censored] day.

Dam, you should get her one of those kiddie type wallets. A wallet with a metal chain so she either has it chained into her purse or can clip it onto a belt or something. It may be kiddish to her, but with her absent minded track record its like training wheels so that she knows how to use a wallet without losing it :P
