Default How much breakfast do you need to start engine??

I used to eat nothing for breakfast (bad)
Was told I needed to eat something early to get my body to
start burning calories.
How much breakfast do you need to get that engine started?!?

Currently eat cereal 250 cal w/milk.
Can I eat 150 cal and still have my body start burning calories effectivly?!?

What are your goals? What is your exact question? If you're eating clean foods you can really pack it in with breakfast. Mine is around 7-800 calories, but I'm not trying to cut or anything.

Was told by a nurse in a class once that eating or drinking hot foods at breakfast can really help kick-start your body -- even something like a cup of hot water.

Mornings are a good time to get a combination of protein and carbs...that will provide you with more than enough of a kick start

Protein (take powder mixed with water)
Oatmeal (whole oats, not instant or 1 minute)
-mix w/ raisins, flax oil

You can make this at home or work, anywhere you have a microwave.
