Default PT2 vs HM or PT3????

My mate get??

I run Pokertracker and had a little mess around with holdem manager, I also understand PT3 is to be released at the end of this year.

Im starting to teach a mate to play poker and starting him at the micro stakes.

What would be best for him and why? what are the pro's and con's of PT2 and HM?

Im just sooooo used to PT and when the full release of HM is released ill prob get that and copy my DB's over to that and have a real look at it

Thanks for any help or opinions

If he wants to use it right now, I'd still recommend PT2. I like HM a lot, but it's not ready for day-to-day use.

Yeah its for now, Basically just teaching him cash games 10-25nl 6max and just to keep a log of his results, winning/losing hands etc, and can start to get stats and stuff on his play whilst learning.

Anyone got any rough dates for the full release of HM?
