Villain was 24/12. Seemed like a fairly good regular but it's a pretty big repush.

I'm instacalling this and watching opp show you something that you're at least 60/40 favourite against.

I call this BvB. Your stack can handle this comfortably if you lose. If you win you cruise to ITM.

I'm calling it. You can almost certainly discount AA and KK from his range and probably QQ, which gives you a little more equity.

i'm callling. 24/12 is very aggro for full table stats. a lot of us nits are 13/7 full table. so he plays/raises twice as much as a lot of us.

This is a hand where one of those silly stove/wiz whatever things might help (I don't have these, sorry).
Put in a range of 88-JJ, AK, AQ (I think you'll see these hands a lot) and a bit lighter weight of QQ and a lighter weight even of 66-77, AA and you probably have your range. Ryan. |

His PokerAce stats really have nothing to do with his shoving range here. I mean if he was 40/30 then yeah, it might. Just because someone is 24/12 doesn't mean they're spewy.

Since only one of the hands that has us dominated makes this play often I think we can make this call purely b/c of risk vs reward. we call and lose and have 2100 chips a very comfortable stack. we call and win and we have 4700 nearly twice that of the player in second.

Ryan [/ QUOTE ] Well his stats show that he doesn't follow typical 2+2 strategy. Most unknowns shove a wider range than your typical smart player. AT and AJ are definitely in his range and I think lower aces are in there a percentage of the time. |
