I spent way too much time playing through this game and still can't beat it.

Fun game. It takes some time to get into it, but then it reminds you of Fallout I & II to a small degree.

Definitely worth the ten minutes it takes learning this game.

Ive been playing lots of games on kongregate. Pretty cool site idea/implementation. Some of the badges are realllly hard though.

Me too, I've spent far too much of today wandering around selling shoes.

I've still not managed to be hard ass enough to wander round anywhere other than the first 3 towns. I've made it into other towns but I can't stay round there because those damn ninja guys beat me up.

Some tips:

- Never get caught by robbers. In the beginning three cities the robbers move at 5km/hour. So since you go as fast as your slowest animal, ditch the donkey (4 km/hr) and grab a mule (5km/hr)

- In the beginning, the best route is Leather from Poca Casa to Caganel and Shoes from Caganel to Drushlak. Then go empty back to Poca Casa.

- Don't bother getting new guys until you leave the beginning area. Your main guy with his gun is good enough to win most early fights (until you have enough money to ditch the donkey).

-Whenever possible get more mules and medium carts to increase your inventory.

-You need ~$20k to leave the area. Head to Platz and buy a car (don't get attacked or you're pretty much gonna die).

-Only cars can carry people, animals can't. So once you get the car you can travel 15 km/hr and outrun most robbers. If you need more space buy a horse and medium cart because they travel at 15km/hr too.

-The Northwest area is money. Get there ASAP.

The game was mildly interesting up until...

You pay the dude to tell you where the robber base is, then you find it.

At this point I had a kick ass machine gun, some grenades, binoculars, 13 AP (I didn't fight much), 70 health (does this ever go up?), a 3 person jeep, 5 horses+big metal carriages, and a fair bit of cash (about 130,000).

Their hideout was uhhh... a bit much heh? I won't double spoil it, but don't even think about doing it by yourself + the desert patrols you get to assist you. You stand no chance.

As far as I can tell, recruit every person from every town and give them all Grenade Launchers.

Get money from going back and forth between Qubba and the surrounding areas (Alcohol from the Northern most city is like 5x profit when sold in Qubba)
