Default -3.5 BB/100 hand : How Bad Do I Actually Suck...

In other words, am I hanging in there with the chance to improve to a winning player?

Playing mostly .10/.25 I have a winrate (ha!) of -3.5ptbb/100 hands over 24000 hands.

Am I hopelessly bad or just bad?

You are bad. After 24k hands if you were a winning player, you would be up money.

You are only hopelessly bad if you aren't willing to learn the game and study it. Post hands that give you trouble. Read or reread poker books. Study previous hands. Do a stat checkup.

Yeah exactly post hands that you have trouble with and constantly look to improve.

24K is a lot of hands but it is not beyond the realm of variance. I'd say you are a losing player but luck will determine by how much (ie. -4 or -1bb/100). Why not start by going over this thread very carefully. And then as the others mentioned you can post any specific questions you have in this thread.

I suppose it is sort of a stupid post to begin with. I am just a bit frustrated.

I willingly concede that I am a losing player. But, I am actually hopeful about my prospects seeing that I am losing at what I consider to be a small rate. I def used to drop a 100 here and there in very short work.

I just joined CR last week and I am going to make a point of frequenting this forum more often.

I suggest to exaust all of the resources this forum has to offer before joining card runners.

Just reading the uNL essentials sticky and the SSNL master sticky should keep you occupied for a month. No need to go spending money yet.
