Default Laptop quit detecting wireless networks in range

My computer will not detect wireless networks, any idea what the problem might be?

Worked fine, then I installed a free game my daughter got at Taco Bell. Shortly after that my computer shut down by itself, when I turned it back on I had this problem. Not sure if it was the game or a coincidence.

Thanks for any help.
