Default sngs vs cash...thoughts?

hey all,
need your help deciding on switching from stts to cash or not...

here's my background:

started off in sngs
currently have a 15% roi at the ftp 24s
have played higher on the party sngs
i usually 4-table but have a 23" monitor and can 6-table without overlap and 9-table with minor overlap
the highest i've done is 6-tabled

now here's the question:
i have time on my side and wanna use poker as supplemental income later in life
it seems like if i end up 9-tabling the 60s for a 10% roi say, that's an hourly of $54 (actually more b/c avg turbo takes like 45 mins)
but i've started trying out cash with my roll of 3500
2k hands of 25NL at 18ptbb/100
6k hands of 50NL at 1ptbb/100
obviously i suck at cash now but i have time to improve and suppose i end up 8-tabling 400NL for 3ptbb/100 ultimately that means i'll make 64/hr, but that's a conservative estimate for a win-rate and there are higher stakes...
again i have plenty of time to study/get better and i have a solid roll (obvously overrolled for 50NL/24s so i have good bankroll mgmt.)
your thoughts?
thanks for any advice,
holla,
mario

Right now, anything over 200NL is extremely hard to beat the rake over time, much less whatever crazy win rate you are assuming, for all but a tiny number of players. Enjoy.

ptbb=4X2=8
8x3ptbb=24
24x8 tables=192
But you wont get 100 hands/hr so more like $150
Enjoy!

Yes. In today's environment, only a fool would quit his job and play poker for a living.

Lacky is the obvious exception. And he almost quit before having a +$123481234123 month in July.

wtf cash is not that hard. if he actually gets good 3ptbbs at 2/4 wont be a problem at all.

edit: i guess i should clarify that getting "good" enough to beat 2/4 isnt all that easy, but its not like you have to be some poker deity to do it, just put in the hands, and time reviewing them in PT and it wont take too long.
