Red River Roundup at Winstar Tourney Structure
Anyone out there know the structure for the final $1100 event? I've heard that its $1,000,000 guaranteed, which means that 1st is going to be around 200k. I can't find the blinds, blind rounds, are starting chips. I emailed the casino but they never respond...anyone can help me, please do!

Re: Red River Roundup at Winstar Tourney Structure
The million is not guaranteed but they should fill the 1000 players to hit that mark. First is 250K if they fill. The structure is much better than last years setup as the poker mgmt team is in charge this year as opposed to last year when the marketing guys set it up. 5000 starting chips with blinds starting at 25/50. 40 minute levels. They are having three day ones with 33 players advancing each day to the final day on Sunday. The amount of fish in this tournament is hard to believe. I cashed last year and have already witnessed some of the players trying to satellite in this year. It blew my mind how bad the play was. I highly recommend playing.

What day does this start, and when do I need to register? Also, do the blinds double every time or is it more like a WSOP format?

Re: Red River Roundup at Winstar Tourney Structure
August 23-25 are day ones and Sunday August 26'th they play down to winner. The format does not double every level. I looked at the structure sheet when I was up there and I would give it a 7.5 out of ten. You get plenty of play but not to the extent of a wsop main event or anything. If you are wanting to play a certain day one you should go up there soon and register or they may put you in whatever day needs players.

Re: Red River Roundup at Winstar Tourney Structure
Last time I was there, I heard talk from an employee of an "Omaha" tournament (no word as to O8 or PLO, but I'm thinking O8) and a limit holdem tournament. Hooray! Not sure if it's part of this, but giving the timeframe, I'd say probably not.
