One of the first 20 hands or so in this session. I have no previous hands on opponent, which slightly increases the chance that he is a donk. I had been playing somewhat tight at the table and was contemplating a preflop fold.
If I do not fold preflop, I cant play for set value only obvisouly. However at the flop I was maybe still a bit too deep for pushing it allin. But I cant call and wait for turn, since then I would practically give AK/AQ overcards a "free" card.

Calling pre-flop puts you in a tough spot, you say obviously you can't play for set value, but you basically are, any flop is going to be guess work, even a flop with no overcards like this one! Sure you have position, but you have to figure an aggressive raise out of the blinds is going to be followed up by a solid c-bet.

On the flop... AQ/AK are the hands in his range you get him to throw as well as just light 3-bets that completely missed (which if hes an observant player will be few because you say you had a tight image, so he knows your not raising light). Coming to your push... He's obviously calling with AA-TT, calling 66-44 all of which have you crushed. Hands he possibly calls with that you have beat are 88,77,33. So basically you are taking a stab in the dark that he doesn't have you crushed, which I hate because it makes up such a large part of his range.

I don't like vs unknown ever....we only beat AK/AQ/88/77...77 calls alot here

the only benefit to this is that you may fold out TT and maybe even JJ depending on how the villan is. there is no way you are getting called by a hand thsts worse then yours and every time you get called you are crushed.

just because you're not only playing for set value doesn't mean you have to felt everything

i think a fold is find on the flop, since calling is not profitable due to potential overcards, no room to bluff, etc., and pushing doesn't fold overpairs on that board

i guess you fold AK, AQ type hands, but those don't cbet the flop 100% of the time, and you beat them and they have 6 outs

How about a call and fold to a second barrel? You give a free card but if he fires again then you can be pretty certain you are beat.

you dont beat much, and there arent really any worse hands that will call. a shove doesnt seem good here. i probably wouldnt even stick around preflop with a 100bb stack and no read on the player.
