Nut draw vs. tough range
Villain is solid TAG (23/20) and 3-bets reasonable amount of time. This flop hits his range hard. I think my flop play is bad, but interested to see reactions on whether to call or push this flop. Also, how often should I be 4 betting preflop against this opponent.

[ QUOTE ] wtf dont raise the flop [/ QUOTE ] soo ugly rasing flop..but now ur committed even though yuor behind [/ QUOTE ] I think I agree with you guys. My initial reaction after I played this hand was that I should have called the flop. I also felt that if I did raise, I should have pushed. My thinking at the time however was that the 3x raise may buy me a free showdown and a chance at a free river card for less than the cost of calling and calling the turn. Once he pushed, obviously I was pot committed. Also curious re: preflop against a capable player, how often do you push, call or fold JJ (I almost never fold JJ unless villian is supertight in the blinds. |
