After the raise, you'd have an M of just over 3, heads up. How can this not be a call, or an outright push from the start? Sometimes your tournament life will rest on a coinflip, and ace mid kicker is a great hand to push that edge, IMO.

Easy push over the top unless your opponent's 3-betting range is incredibly tight

This is six handed, I presume? If so, then push with ATo because you're M is about 6 and pushing here is just fine.

If it's 9 handed, UTG, then it's a little bit tougher, but I still go for a push.

Raise / folding is really bad with your stack size just open push.

thats a great question bc you are asking am i being results oriented. im more thinking it was bad bc you guys all said it was and i respect ppls opinions. i genuinely was not sure if i was making the right decision. i had about 10bb left so i felt i could still dbl up. i felt he had a top 10% hand. A 10 is 35% against that range. close enough (barely) for a call but my gut was saying you are dominated wait and something good will happen.
