Re: find fold with JJ in reraised pot?
what about bet/folding flop? c/c is bad i think since with no real draws (save 67) our hand is what it is. and we can't c/r because again, it's so dry that we either have a set, lower PP, or air.

bet fold flop sucks imo, i would only lead this flop if I thought it would induce a bluff shove

Re: find fold with JJ in reraised pot?
ok these spots give me a ton of trouble, but what should we be trying to do here? this flop is so dry that our call defines our hand as a PP like always, no? and what worse hand calls our c/r?

and what worse hand calls our c/r? [/ QUOTE ] This is not the only critera for CRAI on flop. Even if he never calls with worse it's still a value shove and def. can be +EV. |

i have 236 left. my standard here is crai on flop but i didn't see many worse hands calling. [/ QUOTE ] the pot is very big, you are oop and you have about 2/3 psb left. just c/r flop. |

Re: find fold with JJ in reraised pot?
Even if villain saw your cards he would almost be getting odds to call a flop CRAI with AK/AQ (236 pays 800 and hits 1 in 4). Combine that with (1) the fact that you might occasionally be bluffing and (2) meta-game, and villain would be making a mistake to fold AK/AQ here (after he prices himself in with flop bet).
On your river I c/f most of the time. I'd c/c turn most of the time. |
