Third hand and you're at $130? Nice. Bet the flop. As played, bet more on the turn. I think we can fold river. I don't think we're good half the time.

i tend to disagree on the fold river if we bet the flop and the turn, gives us more of an idea where we are, and if probably wouldn't call the flush with a backdoor flush draw on the flop-- and if he got the flush or straight why a push into such a minuscule pot? i honestly guess i have to fold b/c of no info on villan, but that bet seems really odd to have the goods on that river, no?

That's probably the whole point. He's hoping Hero says "he wouldn't bet that much if he really had it" and then calls. Either that, or he's just a donk that says "ZOMGZ I HAVE TEH NUTZ ALLINNNNN!!!!!11"

I'm probably laying this down... there's too much that you let get there on the river. BET the flop and bet more on the turn next time.

In general big river overbets == nutz or near UNTIL you;ve sen villan bluff big then it's ok.

I fcbet the flop IP HU it's nice and dryish.
As played I fold, unless tilting and call as I did yesterday with 2pair ina similarish situation

C-bet flop, makes hand easier to play. Turn bet allowed villian to play almost perfect. As played, fold.

IMO.

My standard play is usually to c-bet the flop. I think it took him a while to check on the flop and I got suspicious so just tried to play a small pot and take a different line form the norm. Which looking now was a bad idea.

I called the river and won the pot.
seat 6 shows: 8 of [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9 of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero shows: 10 of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 10 of [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero wins $66.45 from the main pot

End of game

I guess calling in these spots is why I do not win as much as I should.
