Final Pot: t830

Villain here doesn't believe me. I picked up a few good hands early, raised, never saw showdown and took down pots. Raised with AQo and he minraised with 67s.

Mentality on the turn was to check, because the flop is so incredibly dry I figured he'd have to either be floating A High, picked up a pair, etc. and he'd bet out the turn and I could punish him then. If I fire a second barrel I think he's folding every time unless he has a T. At the same time I can't see him not betting into me with a T.

River bet is standard for me. I've been pretty aggressive due to my hands so far and if I'm going to fire a river bet, i fire larger ones when I'm being aggressive because people suspect I'm full of [censored] more.

I like a larger flop bet, in a 4-way pot (at least 300). Anyone who'll call for 200 is likely to call for 300.

The turn play seems fine. The only draw you're really concerned about is 65 (98 already got there); KQ is a remote possibility. You'd like to get paid on the river, by everything else.

Your attempt to make the river bet look like a steal is valiant. Since you posted the result, I'll say no more about this for fear of sounding results-oriented.

I thin cutting the river results off might be better in the future.

I don't think your river bet is bad. I'm just having a hard time thinking of a hand that'll be willing to call (given the action), even if they suspect you to be on a steal.

I'd prefer a more coordinated board, unless I'm on a bluff.

Id prolly be really tempted to check this flop cuz its so dry and hope paint comes on the turn but betting is just as good if not better. I think I would go ahead and bet the turn again like half pot, hopefully he still doesnt believe you and keeps calling with his pair or whatever, if he doesnt I guess you were destined to win a small pot. I dont think he can call that big river bet without something good even if he doesnt believe you so I would prolly make a small value bet on the river as played.

I don't mind the play but personally I like a turn bet, something like 200-300. Based on the play it seems like he's floating some overcards, and with a bet that small compared to the pot (800) he may sense fear and try to push you off the hand by bluffing all in.

Other than trying that I really see now way for you to make any more money.

More from me, I would bet the turn small too, like pariah said. Try to keep him in or let him do something stupid like push.

I like the idea of a small turn bet here.

Yea I do too, the board is not at all scary for your hand, no draws hardly, you said he doesnt believe you so its gonna be hard for him to fold to small bets from you.
