I'm a big Shilling fanboi, but when I saw the ads for CostasNOW (haven't watched it yet.. hopefully it's on demand?) where he's patting himself on the back for doing what he's done in the steroid era, even I thought, "jesus christ stfu." You don't see Pedro or Randy saying that [censored].

So instead of talking about Schilling's entirely-too-logical comments, you'd rather start a thread with no content whatsoever? All Schilling did was accept an interview spot with Bob Costas (which TONS of people do), and made a point that says "if people were out there writing about how I've used steroids and how I'm a cheater, and I know I'm not, I'd sue their ass off." And you know what? HE'S RIGHT! And I'd bet that's why you hate what he has to say.

Read the ESPN.com article, where it is quoted that Barry Bonds called Bob Costas a "midget who doesn't know anything about baseball". Real [censored] class act there. And people wonder why he's hated EVERYWHERE outside of San Francisco. I guess the fans of SF need something to cheer about with their piss-poor baseball team and fallen dynasty in the NFL that they'll put up with this kind of garbage.

Schill is a great interview. He's opinionated and doesn't sugarcoat what his thoughts are. I see no problem with what he's been saying.

I should say that my knowledge of this is based off transcripts and reports as I don't have HBO, but he's made his opinions pretty damn clear, so I don't think I'm missing much.
