what to do w/99 w/2 overcards?
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 5 players Stack sizes: UTG: $100 Hero: $100 Button: $93.25 SB: $99 BB: $173.20 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with 9s 9h UTG folds, Hero raises to $3.5, 2 folds, BB calls. Flop: 2c 6c 8s ($7.5, 2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $6, BB raises to $18, Hero calls. Turn: qc ($43.5, 2 players) BB checks, Hero checks. River: ad ($43.5, 2 players) BB bets $40, Hero ???? opponent stats are 13/8/1.63 over 53 hands. my stats are 27/27/22 over 52 hands at this table. i have seen this guy call 2 streets w/bottom pair and gutshot on monotone board with no flush possibility for him then bet pot on river w/just his bottom pair. however, the Q and the A and the flush card that hit made it very hard for me to call this bet. i think i played this hand too passively and thats why im in such a marginal situation. should i have 3bet the flop or bet the turn? the reason i didnt was because he doesnt like to fold (as with his bottom pair and gutshot on monotone board). how well did i play this? |

yea flop is a fold especially considering this guys turn/river tendencies.
