FREECELL tourney structure
If I wanted to prove my utter dominance in this game over my friends, how should i set up a tournament?
Should I: 1. Have everyone play 10 games per round, and eliminate half the people with the lowest percentages? And should the percentages reset every round? 2. Play an unlimited amount of games for a set period of time, and have those who won the most games continue? At first it seemed like choice 1 was the obvious one, but now I'm leaning toward choice 2 for two reasons, both of which are caused by the time constraint. First, there ought to be some incentive to move faster through the games. Second, it adds another aspect to the game: knowing when it is appropriate to start a new game instead of trying to beat the present one. Thoughts? ERBY [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

Re: FREECELL tourney structure
Give them a week. Highest win percentages at the end move on. Some ppl are amazing at freecell. I had a teacher in high school who played about 2 games a day and his streak when I saw it was around 4000 games.

[/ QUOTE ] This wouldn't work, it's too easy to give yourself as many wins/losses as you want by editing your registry. |
