Default $50NL, TT SB vs. BTN Min-raise.

Villain is 53/16/1.5 over about 80 hands. I wasn't sure what to think of the min-raise, but I know I'm almost certanily ahead, maybe I should pop it higher pre-flop? Once he calls the flop c-bet, I should have slowed down and checked the turn. The river is pure spew. Anyone think differently?

well, I like your pre flop raise amount and the flop bet is fine as well

I'm a bit torn between betting and checking the turn though

I think I prefer to check/call turn and reevaluate river, but it's a tough one

there is no reason to raise more preflop. that is results oriented thinking.
i think the turn bet is actually ok as villain might be chasing a draw. but it's not really scare card and it's a reraised pot so people don't call down as lightly. river is certainly spew. you got taken to value-town there, imo.

I think you played it well up until the river. I check and fold to that bet size. The most obvious value bet of all time.

villains preflop/flop/turn line fits a draw very well, and the flop was real draw heavy.

Once OP checked the river here, villains river bet can't be a desperate bet from a whiffed draw?

i think he is drawing and the river check is fine. i put him on something like 88 and when you check the river he fires a semi bluff at the pot. I wouldnt play this much differently. The river call seems fine to me

It probably can but I think his range consists more of boats or bigger pairs.

How much more? We are getting more than 3 to 1, and only have to be good more than 25% for this to be a call.

Not saying call is correct, I'm not really sure yet to be honest, but I'm trying to say that I certainly don't think this is a clear fold.
