Hint 1: Use a hand converter
Hint 2: Don't include results in your post I probably take the same line that you do and call the flop with the intention of raising a bet on the turn from early position. There aren't really any draws on the flop that you need to raise to get out. I think your line is perfectly fine. |

I very rarely slowplay flopped sets, but when I do its on super dry flops like this one, nh
edit: whoops...I didn't notice villians preflop raise. you should be ramming and jamming hoping he has an overpair. Waiting for the turn usually kills action |

There've been a lot of these questions lately from newer players to limit. Do not slow play at these limits guys unless you are a masochist! The amount you lose by slow playing will cost you so much in the long run. Raise!

It depends on how aggressive/loose-passive the table is. Since he hasn't posted any reads it's difficult to analyze that particular question.

[/ QUOTE ] also all the fish love to wait til the turn to raise their big hands so they'd often expect you to do the same. Combine this with all those flop value/protection raises that you should be making anyway with lesser hands and basically you are going to win many bets before they actually believe you have a monster. |
