Default I have 2pairs and dont know what to do - nl200

CO is a nit, 13/10/6, other villian is 40/2 over small sample.

SB: $197.95
Hero (BB): $188.15
UTG: $133.40
CO: $210.70
BTN: $89.70

Preflop: Hero is dealt A J (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO raises to $8.00, BTN calls $8.00, SB folds, Hero calls $6.00

Flop: ($25) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)

I would lead this flop becaus we charge draws that way and there are plenty of hands drawing very live which check behind which call a bet. I think a check/call is missing value and a check/raise is over-repping our hand.

I probably just call and see what CO does. Our CC should slow him down unless he has us crushed.

Lead flop.
As played it's close between calling and folding.
I call on the flop though.

I'd fold. CO isn't cbetting into a 3-way pot very lightly on this flop so there is a decent chance he has a good hand. The button obviously likes his hand and probably has mega-outs if you are ahead. I think best case scenario you are up against AQ and KJ. Worst case scenario is that you are up against a set and a flush draw. Toss it.

How do people feel about folding pf against a nitty opener?

Once BTN calls you have odds to call.

You make a really good point. I think this is a fold.

You sure about that? I think we have some reverse implied odds to worry about.

I think its a fold on the flop and its not that nitty.

Even against someone that nitty opening in the CO, if he seems at all positionally aware then I think you should squeeze fairly often.
