Any idea what the bankroll requirements would be for a game like this?

Re: Forte busted at Borgata - article link
The origional thread in the books forum can be found here. There is also an NVG thread discussing Steve's arrest. Mason Malmuth introduced me to Steve's book when it first came out, Steve literally is the expert in the field of crooked card games and how to detect them. Anytime someone in this forum asks a question about marked cards we generally tell them to read Steve's book.

Re: Forte busted at Borgata - article link
It made the AP today:
POKER SCAM ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - It sounds like a scene from one of those casino caper movies. Mini video cameras, earpiece radio receivers and laptop computers used to cheat at poker. New Jersey State Police report busting up a scam that targeted high-rollers. The troopers have arrested four men in the high-tech version of poker cheating. Authorities say a room at one of Atlantic City's swanky hotels was rigged with the cameras, so the cheaters could see what cards the unsuspecting players were holding. Officials note the scheme was not on the casino floor, but in a rented room. Police say one of the suspects is a well-known consultant who advised people on how to spot card cheats. |

Re: Forte busted at Borgata - NY Times
NY Times - we learn a little bit more, but information is still lacking.
I'm pretty sure this scam is described in Steve's book from the writing so far, but I cant be sure yet. |
