Default BJJIII\'s Excellent Adventure(Tunica Trip Report)

Cliff Notes:

Made a bad read in a 1/3NL cash game vs. a maniac and lost a big pot.

Ran good and cashed in a Tournament at Sams Town.

I played 1/3 at the Shoe. The maniac was an elder gentleman who wore sunglasses.

Glad ya'll enjoyed yourselves at our little corner of the world. Tunica offers a good value for those looking for a few days of poker/gambling especially if you're on a budget.

I usually try to make it to Tunica atleast twice a year. I usually go in Jan around the WPT and I try to go during the WSOP Circuit Event, but this year I had to come earlier due to personal reasons.

I love Tunica.

You stayed at the Strike and paid $50/night on the poker rate? When did they decide to up the price by ~50%?

I am pretty sure that both the Grand and the Strike have went up on their prices.

Its $40 a night at the Grand on the weekends, but I would rather stay at the Strike, so that I can walk back and forth from the Strike to the Shoe.

Still $50/night isnt really that bad, but I did like the cheaper rooms back in the day.

Landlord,
I've only played there once...but i'm going down tonight and staying in another casino, but we're thinking about playing over at Sam's Town. I will be sure to ask for you and let you know tomorrow.

Matt
