Hey guys, long time since I have posted here in STT. I have taken a break from sngs, so I am a bit rusty [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
Converted it for you. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t20/t40 8 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t1485 UTG+1: t1410 MP1: t2020 MP2: t850 CO: t3380 Button: t1440 Hero: t1460 BB: t1455 Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is SB with J J 4 folds, CO raises to t140, Button folds, Hero raises to t360, BB folds, CO calls t220 (pot was t520). Flop: 5 8 6 (t760, 2 players) Hero bets t480, CO folds. Uncalled bets: t480 returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: t760 EDIT: thanks 55offsuit, tried a diff site that didnt work. Will be using that one next time.

this is a really tricky spot. at pokerstars the bb=50, it gets opened to 150, and you can just shove preflop to avoid a messy situation when an overcard flops. plus i've usually donked off a few chips and start the hand at 1200.
i think you need to be pretty good postflop to get extra value out of JJ OOP. i just shove preflop but i think your line is fine. a preflop shove sorta looks like 77/AQAK and a bad player will call you with 88-TT. any read on villian?

[/ QUOTE ] Haven't played a ton with villian, but he is a slight loser at sharkscope, and seems to make the general mistakes of playing too many hands early on (although he hasnt played an abnorm number).
