UTG calls, hero is UTG+1, what changes ?
UTG calls, hero is UTG+1
now does that cause ANY different behavior to: UTG folds, hero is UTG+1 ? seems basically to be the same to me ? |

In a pretty loose game you might have some more reasons to limp some hands, since 2 limpers encourage more people to limp, but no, there is no real differnce.

Re: UTG calls, hero is UTG+1, what changes ?
I don't play differently unless UTG's stats are very abnormal. For example, if UTG was super tight over a sufficiant sample size I might limp or fold AJo instead of raise.
Limping hands that play best multiway like 22 and JTs are probably better after a limper but to be honest I don't know if there is any time I have specifically played a hand because of that. |

Re: UTG calls, hero is UTG+1, what changes ?
I will limp 22-55 instead of folding it on certain tables. I will also raise easier if UTG is a bad, loose player.

Re: UTG calls, hero is UTG+1, what changes ?
My limping range opens up a little in this spot. 55, J9s, QJo, A7s are examples of hands I add to my limping range.
Edit: These are for the games I play, not a rigid recommendation. If you're playing games like 4/8 live you should likely be limping these anyways. |

Re: UTG calls, hero is UTG+1, what changes ?
Also, if he's bad and will make mistakes postflop I will tend to loosen up a bit with hands that have isolation/showdown value, but this is a tiny adjustment. ie. I may be willing to raise 66 as my cutoff instead of 77.
