100 NL - I Just Don\'t Know
Villain was 25/7 over 100 hands.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 9 Players - (http://www.legopoker.co <font color="red"> </font> m/hh) SB: $48.20 BB: $41.65 UTG: $44.60 UTG+1: $95.00 MP1: $154.75 MP2: $102.50 Hero (MP3): $197.20 CO: $124.20 BTN: $132.75 Preflop: Hero is dealt 3s 5s (9 Players) 2 folds, MP1 calls $1.00, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $4.50, CO folds, BTN calls $4.50, SB calls $4.00, BB calls $3.50, MP1 calls $3.50 Flop: ($22.50) 3c Qh 3d (5 Players) SB checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $10.00, 3 folds, MP1 raises to $27.00, Hero calls $17.00 <font color="red"> My normal c-bet is 3/4 pot, but I hit this flop good so I ~1/2 pot it. I don't want to lose anybody with a Queen, and hate giving free cards especially in a 4-way pot. Is this type of c-bet ok or does it give away the strength of my hand? Also, I flat-called the flop raise for two reasons. If I reraise I doubt that a worse hand will call. I don't want it looking like I have an overpair to villain. Also, it seems villain is repping a 3 by the raise, or thinks I have air, so I want to let him continue on the turn. </font> Turn: ($76.50) Tc (2 Players) MP1 bets $30.00, Hero calls $30.00 <font color="red"> This is where I think I played the hand bad. Would you mini raise here, or shove? Or is it ok as played? </font> River: ($136.50) 6c (2 Players) MP1 bets $50.00, Hero ??? <font color="red"> Calls or shoves? I wasn't liking my 3 kicker after this bet</font> |

Re: 100 NL - I Just Don\'t Know
Pre-flop is kinda loose, but I shouldn't be the one to criticize that.
You hit jackpot on the flop. I would bet around $15. If they call the $10 bet, 99% of the time they will also call $15, and this gets more money into the pot. I would raise that turn. He has QT a lot IMO. If he has A3, well cooler. You raise with a 53 and hit just about the best possible flop. Get it in. |

Re: 100 NL - I Just Don\'t Know
I like to pound the hell out of limpers when in LP regardless of my holdings. I guess that's the 6-max side of my game. I agree with the raise turn comments, thanks. I shoved river and he folded FWIW.

[/ QUOTE ] punishing limpers doesn't really work if you're on the hijack. this is definitely a -EV play if you're making plays with such bad hands. bet more on flop, raise the turn, shove river. He has AQ. |
