Default getting a box at the wynn?

does anyone know the procedure for getting a box at the wynn and how much the deposit is? can anyone get one? ill be in vegas for a month and may be staying in some semi shady place that i might not want to carry too much cash in.

Wiring money and putting it on deposit is probably your best bet for that long a stay if we're talking about significant money.

"Significant money" means very different things to different people. I'm not really asking for myself here, but how much money is "significant" enough to get a box?

we are talking money that is very significant to me but probalby not what some players consider significant. its significant enough that i dont want to get hit over the head and have some take it but it is in cash now and its not enough for me to go to the trouble figuring out how to deposit/wire it. does the wynn have a policy about how much money you need to have to get a box or for that matter do they even know how much you put in your box.

I'll find out today when I go. I've considered doing this and keeping 5-10k of my bankroll in high denomination bellagio/wynn chips.

My guess if you're a regular playing mid and high limit, you shouldn't have a problem (unless it is an availability issue). Then you can always just create a front money account while you wait for a box to become available.

$100 key deposit, they photocopy your ID. Took me about 5 minutes. They did ask if I was a local (and I said yes, of course), but I'm not sure if they would have done anything different if I wasn't. I think you'd be OK.
