Party\'s new rake at $1/$2
Party's rake at 1/2 has recently gone up. I compared rake between Party and Pokerroom, which is notorious for its high rake and came to the following conclusion.
Playing at Pokerroom: 227 BB paid in rake over 10,227 hands = 0.022 BB per hand paid in rake. At Party: 173.5 BB over 7,668 hands = 0.0225 BB per hand paid in rake. For comparison i recently played on a crypto site: 43.25 BB paid in rake over 2,617 hands = 0.0165 BB paid in rake per hand. I had no idea Party was ripping me off so bad. I understand that the 2/4 limit tables at Party take less rake. If somebody could post the similar rake calculations at party 2/4 this would be appreciated as I am now considering moving up to 2/4 because of this terrible news. |

Re: Party\'s new rake at $1/$2
rake is higher on Crypto (it is not capped at 1$)
Does you calculations include rakeback? |

Re: Party\'s new rake at $1/$2
How did it go up?
I just checked the site and it appears to still be $.50, $.75, $1 at $5, $12, and $20 respectively, same as .5/1 and same as its been for quite some time. Is there something I'm unaware of? |

Re: Party\'s new rake at $1/$2
My calculations did not include RB. I believe Interpoker the Crypto site I played at takes rake $.25, $.50, $.75 and $1 at $5, $10, $15 and $20 pots respectively, which is lower than Party. I haven't observed over $20 so you're prolly right that they dont cap it but how often do pots get over $20 at 1/2 anyway.
I've been observing Party's rake at 2/4 and pots under $20 have not been raked AT ALL. This is what confuses me and why I am considering moving to 2/4. |
