Default AQo overcard p

PokerStars .25/.50 limit 10 max

Villain in MP1 is 31.03/10.34/.90 WTSD is 27.27
Hero in MP2 with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain calls, Hero raises, BB calls, Villain calls

Flop: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks, Villain checks, Hero bets, BB folds, Villain calls

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villain checks, Hero?

Been in this situation a ton of times. If I continuation bet again I may get a fold but often Villain has small PP and not just Ax. If I check, Villain bets river and I fold UI. What is standard?

I bet. He could fold a hand with 6 outs or call with a hand that has lots of outs but that you are currently ahead of. It is also the best way to dodge getting river bluffed on a board like this. The only downside to betting is getting chek/raise bluffed or donked on the river. Given villians stats I wouldn't worry to much about the check/raise bluff here.

bet turn check behind river UI
this protects your hand if he is rawing to the flush and gets you to the showdown cheap

I would tend to check, I think, because the board just flushed, and I have no [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s.

I would call most non-[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] rivers.

I think. This may be the nittiest way to approach it, but for one more bet, you get the river, and you may catch a bluff.

You can safely bet the turn and fold to a raise.

How many hands in your read on Villan?

If he were more aggressive this would be a decent spot for a bluff-inducing check on the turn, call on the river. Since his AF is low and it doesn't look like he sees SD a lot even though he sees a lot of hands, bet to get him to fold; since his AF is low and you don't have a redraw, you can fold to a c/r.

Boz - how high do you want the AF before you check to induce a bluff here? Would high AF be enough or do you wait until you have seen villain bluff the river before?

2-ish is probably the right neighborhood. Beyond that, it's a question of how many hands I have on the Villan...obv, the fewer hands, the more likely I am to trust the stats.
