I'm primarily a NL player. Those situations favor betting out big hands, but I'm much less adept to LHE play. Trying to study my hands, read SSHE and get a little play in. Here I'm not afraid of any hands and primarily wondering if I should let anyone catch up to me here.

open limping on the button with anything = puke.

I choose to use the assignment operator, not some damn logic test. He might think yours will return "false."

i agree with the sentiment wook (obv) but i could feel the nits ready to pounce and also remembered the hand in the ME where i had stolen buzz's blind like 1000000 times in a row and he TOLD ME that he was 3betting with atc and i had T9s so i just said [censored] it and open-limped. FOR VALUE.

also, i think using the assignment operator is going to generate a compile-time error. otherwise, i could fyp thusly:

open limping on the button with anything = TEH AWSUM

[/ QUOTE ]

and change the laws of poker and/or strat posts.

At .1/.2, people peeling the flop with as little as one overcard or any pair or straight draw isn't uncommon. You don't have to let them catch up per se since so many people will pay you off when they aren't anywhere close to your hand. And even if they do improve, a lot of people are passive enough at that level that you won't get much more out of them a lot of the time. In this hand, someone may call the flop bet (and possibly the turn) with A4, but if they do happen to hit an ace on the turn, they may not raise, so you'd get nearly equal value anyways.

Yeah, wow. Raise preflop. Do they have a raise button at stars 10c/20c full ring games? If not, it's time to find another site that does, and if so, you might want to email support so that they can help you locate it. If you never ever slowplayed at these limits, it would be a negligible mistake in your win rate. If you slowplay too much, it can be a pretty significant detriment.
