Friend insists i misplayed this. (intended to check raise all in on river)

FPS.

This is a great flop for your AA. People never give you credit for a J. So, you are going to get looked up here but a lot of hands that villian in limp/calling with in EP here.

You can certainly get one street of value here enough to justify a bet. You probably can even get two streets of value by taking a bet/check/bet line. Regardless, you'll get more value on average by betting this flop than checking all three streets.

Edit: despite the title, I forgot villain was short. I'd still bet about half his stack on this flop, and get the rest in at some point on the turn or river.

i think some opponents in some situations are more likely to bet a worse hand then call would u agree?
