Full Tilt Daily Double, Blinds 40/80

I have already raised twice off button - once with QQ (showed), once with JJ, everyone folded. Guh:

MP1 (11,230)
MP2 (1,150)
Hero, button (2,955)
Villain, BB (2,615)

folds to MP1 limps, MP2 limps, folds to hero with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] who raises to 400, Villain thinks a little than pushes all in, Folds to hero.

Hero has to call 2000 into 3000.

PS: What is my calling range here? 99 seemed like such a marginal spot, I think I make this call very quick with 1010

i think ur prolly up against ak or a bigger pair so i would dump this hand and wait for a better spot u got 2k behind so at that level of the tourney ur alright and can wait for a better spot

You are probably coin flipped or looking at an over pair so I would fold. If he has less than you, well good bet by him, you should be able to comfortably live with it.

But why does 10-10 change things so drastically? It is just another small pair.

good point, I'll do the calc. Reads, just in case someone else wants to do a calc. / chip in:

88+, AK, AQ. I think it's a marginal call, and 88 is slightly optimistic. Also, the limpers, the limpers were limping every hand.
